Roller Hearth Furnace Temperature and Roller Material Select

　　
Roller are key components of roller-hearth furnaces. Roller-hearth continuous heat treatment furnaces are commonly used for annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering of materials such as steel plates, steel pipes, steel sections, and wire rod. Hexin manufactures hollow hearth rollers in various national standard heat-resistant alloy steels with diameters ranging from 60 mm to 2000 mm.
 
Selecting the appropriate roller material depends on the furnace temperature.
1. For furnace temperatures between 650°C and 850°C, ZG35Cr24Ni7Si2N and ZG30Cr26Ni12 are recommended.
2. For furnace temperatures between 950°C and 1050°C, ZG30Cr25N20Si2 and ZG45Cr25Ni35 are recommended.
3. For furnace temperatures between 1050°C and 1200°C, ZG45Cr28Ni48W5 is recommended. 4. For furnace temperatures between 1200-1400°C, ZG45Cr33Ni50W16 is recommended.
5. ZG45Cr28Ni48W5 is commonly used in the open flame heating section of continuous hot-dip galvanizing of steel strip and in the RCF/SF/PH section of silicon steel wire.
6. ZG45Cr33Ni50W16 is commonly used in the NOF section of silicon steel wire.
