Skid Rider Castings
The heat-resistant skid riders for walking furnaces are mostly made of Co20 Co40 Co50 ZGCr28Ni48W5 ZGCr25Ni20. Among them, our company mainly produces Co50 sliders for heating furnaces, Co50 heat-resistant pads, and Co50 skid riders, which are used for supporting blocks for rolling plate heating furnaces. It has good high temperature performance (1000-1300 ℃), excellent high temperature oxidation resistance and high temperature resistance. It is used for the supporting block of rolling plate heating furnace. Since the steel contains high Ni and 3-5% W, it has particularly high high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance and high carburizing performance in the range of 1000-1200 ° C. High thermal shock resistance.
Co20, Co40, Co50 pads can effectively inhibit the occurrence of layered denudation at the top of the pad, significantly reduce the height loss of the pad and prolong the effective service life of the pad, so as to improve the heating quality of the billet and significantly reduce the "black mark" of the billet purpose of temperature difference. The excellent performance of the block comes from a more reasonable internal crystal structure.
The heat-resistant steel slide block is mostly used in the walking beam heating furnace. The steel billet is in direct contact with the hot slide rail on the cooling pipe.
Due to the effect of water cooling, the temperature of the hot slide block is lower than that of the steel billet, and the heat slide block can shield the billet from heating. Therefore, the temperature of the local area where the steel billet is in contact with the hot slide rail is relatively low, that is, the "black mark of the water pipe" is formed. Black marks on water pipes are a common and unavoidable problem in the heating process of rolling mills. When the black mark is heavy, it will affect the surface quality and precision of the billet. At the same time, the existence of the black mark makes the local hardness of the billet very large, which affects the life of the roll. In order to reduce the black mark of the billet water pipe, most of the heating furnaces currently use hot sliders. When designing the heat-resistant steel slider, the influence of the height, length and contact conditions of the thermal slider on the temperature difference of the black mark should be considered to reduce such adverse effects.
Heat-resistant steel sliders have a variety of structures, most of which are T-shaped structures, which can be used alone or in conjunction with letter sliders. According to the different needs of the production site, different structures and different materials are selected.
